Catching up
As much as I wanted to be up at crystal this morning, I'm glad that it didn't work out. I was planning to head up with Enoch and Julie, but warm temperatures and rain yesterday convinced us to put the trip off for a few days. Maybe we'll get up there on Monday. Since I found myself at home this morning, I am using the time to get some laundry done and read up on what has been happening to all of my blogging friends. I also had time to make myself a nice breakfast, although I may get tired of omelets before I run out of eggs. In a cooking flurry reminiscent of the days of Saturday breakfasts at the yellow ghetto house, I put together a spread of omelets for my Bible study group on Thursday night. I may have overbought by just a little bit, which is how I ended up with a couple dozen eggs and five pounds of shredded cheese in my fridge.
Speaking of the yellow ghetto house, I believe congratulations are in order to one of the current residents, although I must say that I was disappointed to find out about it here and not have heard about it first hand.

It starts with the shoe. Maybe the next day it's a t-shirt or a sock. You don't know if the washing machine ate it, or your roommate borrowed it a month ago and forgot that it was yours. All you know is that by the end of the week, you're walking to class naked because you don't have any clothes left.
