Wait a second...what just happened?
Did I really just call my parents in the Philippines to tell them...what exactly did I tell them?

Are you and Lindsey dating?

No, mom, you can't really put that box around it.

So, you just called to tell us that you and Lindsey have been spending quite a bit of time together?

Yeah, and that J.T. (Lindsey's dad, airline pilot) is going to be in town next week; I'm planning on having a talk with him.

So, should we congratulate you now?

It might be a little premature for that, dad, but it really looks like things are headed in that direction.

Next week? NEXT WEEK!!? I don't know how I'm keeping up with things. It's crazy, really, and yet not at the same time. Lindsey put words to the feeling very well, "I'm not scared at all, and that scares me a little bit."
If you all could pray for me this week I'd really appreciate it. There are some big conversations that need to happen. My sister seems to has some issues with me and Lindsey that I need to talk to her about. I'm hoping to get some time with her Friday night. And then, of course, the big one on Tuesday. At least I won't catch him totally off guard. Lindsey and her mom are trying to prep him a little bit. But, yeah, pray for me that I would have wisdom for what to say in both of those situations. I could definitely use the help.

It starts with the shoe. Maybe the next day it's a t-shirt or a sock. You don't know if the washing machine ate it, or your roommate borrowed it a month ago and forgot that it was yours. All you know is that by the end of the week, you're walking to class naked because you don't have any clothes left.
