Please pray
for the New Tribes flight program in the Philippines. I got a message from my mom a couple of days ago that said my dad had a kind of rough landing and there was some damage to the plane. No injuries, but it sounds like the plane will be down for awhile for repairs. This is just a guess, but they probably can't repair it where it is, so they may have to completely disassemble it and drag it out piece by piece on a water-buffalo-powered sled. It's actually not even on the same island as the maintenance base, so they may also have to crate it up once they get it out of the jungle and ship it back to the other island. Anyway, a lot of work ahead for those guys and I know that they'll appreciate your prayers. It doesn't sound like this will affect my parents' plans to return to the states next Tuesday for a quick visit (we're all heading down to see my little brother Jon at the Air Force Academy's family weekend, and to see my cousin get married on the following weekend).

I had time
to put up a decent post, but I used it all catching up with everyone else's blogs that I don't usually have time to read during the week. Now I've got to head out to a friend's for dinner, so unless I left a comment on your blog, this is all you're going to get from me at the moment. At least I cut about a third off of my posting interval. More to come as time permits.
