Back at home
That's right, the weekend of mass weddings has come and gone. I had a wonderful, albiet too short, trip back to Texas. Not that there's anything that great about Texas. I can hardly stand the place. It just happens to be the place where most of my friends are currently located. Fortunately the company more than makes up for the location. Thanks to Dunny and Q for the ride and the movie (if you need to ask which one, you really should get out more), and to Scholl for the place to crash. Here are just a few of the things that made it worth the trip:
Sleeping through the fire alarm in Thomas Hall. If I actually lived there, I would definitely have to count on the sprinklers to wake me up, but it sure beats the crickets from hell.
Dr. Watson's film class. I still feel cheated by the fact that he never taught anything that would fit in my schedule around all of the engineering classes.
Lunch on the berm. With Dave, of course.
Bodacious.
I think we did something Friday night, but for the life of me I can't remember what it is. Oh well, must not have been that important.
Saturday breakfast at the girls' place.
"Soccer...soccer...soccer...soccer" It's been way too long since I'd played soccer, and I returned to Seattle inspired to join a league.
It was great to see all of you. I tend to be not very good at staying in touch with people, but I'll try to do a little better job in the future. If any of you end up in Seattle anytime, give me a call.
