I can't find my left shoe

I can't find my left shoe

It's been too long since I've written anything of substance. I'm not sure if I remember how anymore. I suppose I could tell you all about the apartment. It's a three bedroom place just off I-5 in Seattle's University district. We are walking distance from half-a-dozen art-house theaters (looking forward to the Seattle Internation Film Festival this summer), and about a five minute drive from University Village (groceries, Barnes and Noble, The Ram Brewery and Grill, etc.). As far as the apartment itself goes, the rooms aren't large by any stretch of the imagination, but you can fit a bed in them and still have room to open and close the door. Kitchen, living area, and two closet-sized bathrooms round the place out. For less than the price of a single bookcase, my brother and I picked up some plywood and 2x4s at Home Depot and put together some decent shelves (think loft on a slightly smaller scale). I'm starting to get pictures up on the wall and make the place look a little more like home. Those of you who remember my room on 1B last year will have some idea what it looks like. All in all, it's a great place. It's a bargain at what we're paying now, and it's still just my brother and me. The third guy (who we haven't actually met yet) is supposed to be here next month, which will drop a third off our per person cost. Hmmm...getting hungry. It must be time to post this and go see if I can squeeze some food out of my nearly empty refridgerator.

Tickets in hand
I got tickets to fly down for Jordan's wedding. I'll be in Longview May 14-18. I hope everyone is planning to hang around after school gets out. It would be great to see all of you. If anyone feels like picking me at DFW, I get in at 8:30pm on the 14th. Leave a comment or email me if you can help out.

It starts with the shoe. Maybe the next day it's a t-shirt or a sock. You don't know if the washing machine ate it, or your roommate borrowed it a month ago and forgot that it was yours. All you know is that by the end of the week, you're walking to class naked because you don't have any clothes left.
