I can't find my left shoe

I can't find my left shoe

Wait, it can't be. That isn't a...why yes, it is. It's a post. A new post on Tom's blog. Not that there's really anything new to say. Still live way freakin' far away from where I work (hopefully that will change next month), still don't really know anybody my age in the Seattle area (a direct result of spending all of my waking hours at, or on the way to, work), and still 76.3% without a clue of what I am actually supposed to be doing at my job. At least it's not driving me crazy yet. I can sit through a whole day at my desk without my only thought being how much longer before I get to go home. I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was on the good blah. Saturday I went snowboarding up at Crystal. It's been a long time since I've been this sore. Probably because it's been a long time since I've been this lazy. I need to start working out. Maybe I can volunteer as an assistant track coach at a high school somewhere near my office. I could handle getting off work and coaching pole vaulters for a couple of hours before heading home, assuming I find a place that will cut my commute in half. Anyway, I came back from Crystal on Saturday evening long enough to grab a bite to eat, and then I drove down to Tacoma to watch the state high school wrestling championships. It wasn't quite the same as it would have been if my little brothers were there (they are at boarding school in the Philippines this year now that my parents have gone back overseas, and they both qualified to wrestle at the Far East championships in Japan last week), but I enjoyed it none-the-less. The downside of the weekend was finding out that I am linked on Scholl's page as a "happier link". Apparently, a couple of months away from 1B has been enough for him to forget that I was usually the one leading the ranting sessions that frequently occured. So Josh has climbed a couple of notches on my "People to Kill" list.

It starts with the shoe. Maybe the next day it's a t-shirt or a sock. You don't know if the washing machine ate it, or your roommate borrowed it a month ago and forgot that it was yours. All you know is that by the end of the week, you're walking to class naked because you don't have any clothes left.
